Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On August 28, 2008, ZymoGenetics, Inc. completed the sale of a parcel of land adjacent to its headquarters in Seattle, Washington. The land was originally purchased in 2001 and 2002 for potential future expansion. ZymoGenetics received net proceeds of $11.5 million and will record a gain on the sale of approximately $7.0 million.
